As demwsiados, Restrepo’s prose is beautiful, although the last section of the book didn’t quite work for me. Normally I really enjoy dialogue but this time it fell flat. The novel really builds until the end, and t I initially had trouble with this novel and contemplated putting it away. This provides opportunity for a degree of back and forth between them on how the story is told, what facts are important, how is the narrative being dressed up, etc.
Lo que no me queda claro, sin embargo, es la razon por la cual Ramon deja pasar el tiempo sin interesarse por su hijo y por que, de repente decide aparecer hacia el final del libro, cuando Mateo el hijo lo llama por telefono, pero asi y todo, sin explicaciones.
