Immerse yourself in the practice of sustainable agriculture, gain practical skills, travel, and share in family, community, and culture. WWOOFers spend about half of each day helping out on a farm, and receive free room and board during their visit.
Starting in Fall 2020, the University of Oklahoma will begin offering up to eleven $3,000 scholarships to assist freshman NROTC students with room and board on a competitive basis.

Sep 18, 2008 Students who take advantage of the room and board program must live in university housing but are not required to live in the dorms. They must work at least 18 hours per week and complete an extra. Hall Council Program ($20/semester).Standard housing rates are established and approved by The Ohio State University Board of Trustees based on building amenities, facility renovations, air conditioning, bathroom configuration and room occupancy. As the population of our country ages and people start thinking outside of normal employment traditions to get the services they need, room and board arrangements are likely to get even more.
