Go to https://chartselect.humminbird.com. You must own one of the control heads listed at https://chartselect.humminbird.com/supported_products. Other control heads will not work with maps purchased from this site.
Encrypt an SD card
You must supply your own 32 GB blank SD card. The SD card cannot be either more or less than 32 GB.
HELIX and SOLIX Series
Plug a blank SD card into your (powered up) control head. The card will be automatically encrypted.
800, 900, and 1100 Series
Plug a blank SD card into your (powered up) control head. Press Menu key twice to open the Main Menu. Press the Right Cursor key to select the Setup Menu tab. Press Down Cursor key to select Encrypt SD Card. Press the Right Cursor key. Follow the on-screen prompts.
ONIX and ION Series
Plug a blank SD card into your (powered up) control head. Press the Home key. Select the Files tool. Under Encrypt, select the Encrypt SD Card 1 or Encrypt SD Card 2. Tap, or press the ENTER key, to select. Follow the on-screen prompts.
Remove the SD card from your control head and bring it back to your PC or Mac.
Note: Ensure your Humminbird control head has the latest software installed.
Download your chart
Download and install the ChartSelect Download Tool (Mac Download | PC Download), launch it and follow the prompts to download your chart to your Encrypted SD card. You will be asked to enter your ChartSelect email and password.
Once logged into the ChartSelect Download Tool, check the box(es) for the layers or lakes you wish to download.
Insert an encrypted SD card into the computer’s card reader.
Click on Browse, go to the Card Reader Drive of the computer, select the encrypt.txt file and click Open.
Click on Download to start the download.
You may pause/cancel the download at any time and resume later.

Download from URL link as supplied in your emailed invoice.
- Install AutoChart Software
Locate the file AutoChartSetup.exe that was downloaded to your PC, double click on it and follow the install wizard.
When prompted, enter your AutoChart serial number, as supplied in your emailed invoice.
- Program Your AutoChart Zero Lines Map Card
You must supply your own 32 GB blank SD card. The SD card cannot be either more or less than 32 GB. Program per the instructions above.
