Thankfully, those dark days are over with the sanity-preserving (and time-saving) Dynamic Link function which creates a link between the After Effects and Premiere project. Simply put, if you make a change to a title in After Effects, it will automatically update the element in Premiere. Sometimes the dynamic link process fails to close naturally. Manually close the process. Mac OS Go to Applications Utilities and open Activity Manager.
A Creative Cloud application installation or update fails and the following error message appears:

Close the Creative Cloud apps that you are updating. Most of the apps that are included in the program use a system called Dynamic Link to communicate. So, it's necessary to close all Creative Cloud apps before installing or updating any apps.
Sometimes the computer can still be in process of shutting down the underlying processes even when the applications are closed. If none of the apps are open, but you are receiving this error, wait about 30-45 seconds and click Retry.
Sometimes the dynamic link process fails to close naturally. Manually close the process.
Go to Applications > Utilities and open Activity Manager.
Click Process Name to sort the processes alphabetically.
Hold down Ctrl and Alt, then press the Delete key. From the menu that appears, choose Task Manager.
Click the Process Name header to sort alphabetically.
Restart your machine and install applications or update before launching any products.
Errors related to dynamiclink.dll can arise for a few different different reasons. For instance, a faulty application, dynamiclink.dll has been deleted or misplaced, corrupted by malicious software present on your PC or a damaged Windows registry.

The most commonly occurring error messages are:
- The program can't start because dynamiclink.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.
- There was a problem starting dynamiclink.dll. The specified module could not be found.
- Error loading dynamiclink.dll. The specified module could not be found.
- The code execution cannot proceed because dynamiclink.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.
- dynamiclink.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vender for support.
In the vast majority of cases, the solution is to properly reinstall dynamiclink.dll on your PC, to the Windows system folder. Alternatively, some programs, notably PC games, require that the DLL file is placed in the game/application installation folder.
